It has been some time since I have posted about WMPE munch business and truly want to say thank you to all that have attend our munch over the summer months. Summer has traditionally been the slow season for WMPE, but this year you all made sure this did not happen! I Would particularly like to give a shout out to our new member as well as our old friends that have come to join us in our monthly kinky family reunion. Thank you all and I hope you all keep joining us as we move into the fall.

Back to School/Back to Basics Toy Making Demo

Greetings, so often BDSM will seem like a rich person's hobby. From specially conditioned ropes, to beautifully crafted leather and wood products, getting into the scene can seem financially daunting. But it doesn't have to be so. With some inspiration and a bit of determination, most toys can be made with easily acquired supplies. From simple floggers to more complex projects, so much is possible. This months presentation will be a brief overview about the world of building your own toys. The goal will be to help give you that starting point and inspiration to perhaps pursue a brand new hobby. We will go over very basic flogger construction and how braiding can open the door to a number of projects. The presentation will end early to allow for getting people started on working on their own toy. Supplies will be provided.

Bondage Art Contest
Presented by WMPE

It's been a long time since we've featured bondage, so here it goes. We are having a light hearted bondage art contest. Don't worry, no need to use rope if you don't want to. We'll be encouraging people to put a willing victum into bondage in some sort of interesting way. What will be your medium? Rope? Leather and chains? Saran wrap? Clothing? Perhaps mental bondage! Let's see what people come up with. Fun prizes will awarded for creativity.

WMPE Playnight is a night where WMPE members are invited down to the Space at The member rate of $15. We also provide programming for the night. Many have found this night to be a great first public play event to attend.

Play nights at The Space are open to those 21+ who are members of WMPE or The Society and their guests. Cost is $15 for members, $25 for guests. Please arrive dressed in street legal clothing. Monthly WMPE meetings in Chicopee Massachusetts are typically held on the 1st Wednesday of each month beginning at 6:30 PM. Check our Calendar for exact dates.

There is no admission fee to WMPE meetings and they are always open to all members, guests and interested visitors over the age of 18.

These non-fetish Meetings begin at 6:30 PM on the 1st Wednesday of each month just outside Springfield in Chicopee, MA.

Meetings at the Hu Ke Lau typically include an educational presentation, food and drink options and ample opportunity for socializing.

Protocol
No fetish wear is allowed, nor is the bringing of any personal toys, implements or such. Since we do hold our meetings in a traditional family environment facility, any overt behaviors, public area discussions and language is highly discouraged.

Library
We offer an extensive library of BDSM related books and videos for our members. Books can be checked out for $1 a month and videos can be checked out for $3 a month. All proceeds go to repairs and acquiring new materials.

Monthly WMPE play nights are held at the Society of Hartford's play space (http://thesocietyct.org) and are typically held the third Friday of each month.  The Society has a 4400 sq. ft. dungeon along with all of the fixtures and apparatus associated with such.  

There is a $15 admission fee to WMPE and Society members and $25 admission fee for guests.  WMPE play nights are open to members and guests 21 and up. No drugs or alcohol are allowed anywhere on the premises, including the Society's parking lot.

These are fetish events and BDSM scenes will be going on, most likely involving some degree of nudity.  If you do not wish to see or witness such things, this is most likely not the night for you to attend.  All of the Society's rules will be in effect and enforced on WMPE nights.  My only addition to their rules is please be respectful to those who are in the middle of a scene.  Keep any conversations or discussions in the lounge area and not in the sceneing area.
Play nights typically include a demo and pot luck.  Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish or snack to share with the group.

Protocol

Fetish wear is allowed, bring any personal toys, implements and such you wish to use. This is a non-public setting where you may discuss what you wish and wear (or not wear) what you wish inside the space.  However there are homes nearby and churches housed in the same complex as the Society's space, so we ask that you be discreet in dress and conversation whenever you are outside the space, including the parking lot (ie no nudity, cuffs, harnesses, etc unless covered up).
